Since Adept’s launch in 2008, we’ve grown organically. But today, it’s time to write an exciting new chapter. We’re thrilled to announce our acquisition of the Catchweight SEO division. The Catchweight team — with expertise in SEO strategy, execution and content — joins Adept at a time of rapid growth and expansion.

Our existing clients will benefit from the added expertise, insights and capabilities of the Catchweight team. In addition, Catchweight SEO clients will experience access to full-funnel digital marketing. It’s a win-win. Catchweight, founded in 2011 by Jason Ohlson, is an independent marketing agency in Columbus. The company will maintain its out-of-home advertising and event marketing divisions.

Growth by Design

The pandemic didn’t hinder our aspirational goals. On the contrary, we moved full speed ahead, allowing us to capitalize on unique offerings and growth opportunities that solidify our agency as a regional leader. As part of that upward trajectory, we continuously look for strong talent and business relationships aligned with Adept’s long-term strategy.

In 2020, we launched a public relations offering, expanded our roster of middle-market clients and exceeded revenue goals. In addition, we opened a new Columbus office on the top floor of the White Castle headquarters. Then earlier this year, we hired Creative Director Sean Kiener, an industry veteran who’s worked for global agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi and McCann Worldgroup. He’s one of more than ten new employees to join the agency since January. With the addition of the Catchweight team, Adept is staffed and ready to support its expanding roster of clients.
