What does it mean to be a team of specialists? At Adept, it means we run wide and deep in our expertise, and inspiration can come from anywhere. It’s how we “plus-up” each and every task, conversation and project.
For example, Kristyn Wilson is our resident PR guru. She’s spent years perfecting the art of the pitch, but she knows there’s always more she can learn to stay current on changing trends, storytelling techniques, and evolving industries. So she reads a book a week — every week. It’s a commitment she makes to herself and to her team.
But Kristyn is not alone. Every specialist at Adept pluses-up their work in creative ways, and we found a unique way to celebrate that energy.
For the relaunch of Adept, which includes our focus on Performance+, we asked our specialists to get creative. Each person received a blank canvas with simple instructions: showcase how you plus-up using this canvas and don’t forget to add a plus sign to your design. The request nudged some people out of their comfort zones, many of whom don’t even own art supplies. While others jumped at the opportunity to express themselves in a new way. Regardless of the individual journeys, the finished canvases are nothing short of inspiring.
